Responsibilities
- Lead design for automation discussions with the engineering team.
- Scope potential automation solutions to design problems.
- Develop manufacturing assembly processes via cross-functional collaboration with product design, quality, and operations teams to ensure excellent manufacturability and product quality.
- Provide on-site support for prototype builds.
- Oversee automation vendor engagement and equipment bring-up and maintenance.
- Assess manufacturing processes through the use of statistical methods and six sigma techniques.
- Define data collection requirements, identify root causes of yield loss, manufacture process non-conformities, and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Evaluate existing factory processes and identify opportunities for savings and improvement through the use of automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with manufacturing automation.
- Experience with 3D CAD.
