Inpatient Emergency Room Pharmacist Clinical

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist to join the Emergency Department team in Amarillo, TX. This role involves providing specialized pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced emergency room setting, ensuring optimal medication use and patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
• Manage critically ill patients during resuscitations and trauma cases
• Conduct medication reconciliations
• Prepare and dispense medications according to hospital protocols
• Educate patients and staff on medication therapies and safety
• Monitor for adverse drug reactions
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy
• Certification in BLS, ALS, and PALS within 90 days of hire
