Kinship Notification Specialist | Program Specialist 3 (PS3) - Colfax

Responsibilities

  • Provide outreach support to kinship caregivers
  • Records management
  • Technical support
  • Initiate home study process
  • Provide professional level licensing and home study services
  • Assess and validate information
  • Assign home study process
  • Implement strategies to prevent delay in permanency outcomes
  • Promote Kin-First Culture
  • Work in partnership with internal DCYF staff and kinship caregivers
  • Navigate the complexity of the foster care portal

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two (2) years of experience including planning, policy analysis, coordination, and consultation with a variety of public and private agencies, organizations and/or levels of government
