Kinship Notification Specialist | Program Specialist 3 (PS3) - Colfax
Responsibilities
- Provide outreach support to kinship caregivers
- Records management
- Technical support
- Initiate home study process
- Provide professional level licensing and home study services
- Assess and validate information
- Assign home study process
- Implement strategies to prevent delay in permanency outcomes
- Promote Kin-First Culture
- Work in partnership with internal DCYF staff and kinship caregivers
- Navigate the complexity of the foster care portal
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Two (2) years of experience including planning, policy analysis, coordination, and consultation with a variety of public and private agencies, organizations and/or levels of government
