About the role

The DataOps Service Delivery Manager is accountable for ensuring effective delivery of services by Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to meet or exceed business expectations. Responsibilities include monitoring service execution, ensuring compliance with service levels, coordinating cross-vendor issues, approving root cause analyses, identifying service improvements, and validating adherence to corporate guidelines. Qualifications require a BS in Computer science, engineering or related field, or equivalent, plus 5+ years of IT service delivery management and Data Operations leadership experience, with a preference for healthcare provider industry background.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for service delivery by Managed Service Provider
  • Ensures effective delivery of services to meet business expectations
  • Monitors service execution to ensure agreed service levels
  • Proactively measures service performance
  • Serves as initial point of escalation for significant incidents
  • Coordinates and mediates cross-vendor/internal team issues
  • Ensures compliance with service levels and contractual obligations
  • Plans for impact of corrective actions and associated implications
  • Reviews and approves root cause analysis for systemic issues
  • Identifies need, reviews, and approves service improvement plans
  • Reviews and approves capacity planning reports
  • Participates in joint planning activities
  • Validates adherence to corporate architectural guidelines and standards

Requirements

  • BS in Computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent combination
  • 5+ years of experience with IT service delivery management
  • 5+ years of experience in leading multi-disciplinary Data Operations support functions
  • Strong understanding of best-in-class and emerging technologies
  • Extensive experience in vendor interaction, negotiation and management
  • Healthcare provider industry experience preferred
  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years or 7 years of job-specific experience
