DSHS WSH Recreation Therapist 2

• Assess clients with developmental disabilities
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Conduct therapeutic recreation interventions
• Evaluate individual's progress
• Maintain attendance for all programs led
• Provide input regarding patient's progress during recreation therapy groups
• Attend Evaluation and Treatment Conferences (ETCs) and assist in formulation of patient's treatment plan
• Attend weekly clinical meetings as scheduled
• Assist with HMH Recreational Department sponsored events
• Participate in Rehab Quality Management activities

• Graduate from an accredited Therapeutic Recreation program
• At least 18 months of professional therapeutic recreation experience
• CTR certification from the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation
• Registered with the Washington State Department of Health
