About the role

The HospiceCare Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for providing both administrative and patient/family support as well as ongoing volunteer training, education and support in compliance with the Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation.

Responsibilities

  • Assigns volunteers to appropriate roles based on skills and availability.
  • Recruits volunteers to support organizational needs and initiatives.
  • Evaluates volunteers' performance and provides feedback for improvement.
  • Tracks volunteer hours and ensures compliance with organizational policies.
  • Provides ongoing training and support to volunteers.
  • Maintains accurate records of volunteer activities and contributions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years work experience
  • Valid in state Drivers License with current car insurance
