Surgical Scrub Tech

An opportunity is available for a skilled Operating Room Technician to join a healthcare team in Marion, IL. This contract role operates primarily from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, four days a week, with a rotating day off throughout the week. The position also requires participating in call coverage one weeknight and two weekend days per month.

• Assisting with patient transportation and positioning
• Preparing the surgical environment
• Setting up sterile supplies
• Performing skin preparation and draping
• Aiding the surgeon by passing instruments and sutures

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited OR technician program or equivalent on-the-job/military training documentation
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential preferred or successful completion of the NBSTSA/NCCT exam
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum six months of technical experience or specialized training
