About the role
Serve as a subject matter expert in development and implementation of a pro-active and cost efficient claims and litigation management program for the organization. Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost. Direct and coordinate various programs essential to claims management procedures. Implement procedures to ensure that claims and litigation are being managed in accordance with established standards and within projected actuarial estimates. Resolve complaints, problems, and coverage questions or escalate to the next level as needed. Report to insurers/ reinsurers all Basket 1 events and track progress. Evaluate and update claims metrics and work with claims analysts on compliance and improvements. Ensure requirements are being adhered to by their team members.

Requirements
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
