About the role
An experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse is needed for daytime shifts at a well-regarded medical center located in Fremont, CA.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care aligned with the nursing process and hospital policies
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, hygiene, and protection throughout the care continuum
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, families, and patients to optimize care delivery
- Respond efficiently to medical or environmental emergencies
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer treatments and medications timely and accurately
- Maintain clear and timely communication regarding patient status and care plans
- Adapt care plans based on ongoing evaluation and patient response
Requirements
- Valid California RN License
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
