Special Education Teacher

Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of 4–7 students in a Federal Setting 2 classroom. Utilize established curricula including Sonday, Great Leaps, and Moving with Math to support student development. Manage and document compliance through SpedForms for due process. Maintain strong classroom management and organizational practices to create a supportive learning environment. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff. Attend parent/teacher conferences and occasional school events as required.

• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced classroom setting
• Comfortable managing a small but potentially growing caseload
• Familiarity with or willingness to become proficient in specialized curricula and electronic documentation platforms
• Excellent organizational skills and adept classroom management
• Flexibility and quick adaptability to changing educational needs and schedules
