About the role

Deliver skilled, compassionate care to our nation's heroes at the Walla Walla Veterans Home! Our team is excited to announce we are now accepting applications for a full-time, day shift Nursing Assistant Certified at the Walla Walla Veterans Home!

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the resident's care plan.
  • Create and maintain meaningful, professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • Support and encourage the resident's involvement in decisionmaking.
  • Assist with therapies and treatment under the direction of a licensed RN.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and monitoring/feeding of meals and nourishments, depending on the specific needs and requirements of each resident.

Requirements

  • Valid Washington state license to practice as a nursing assistant certified.
  • Active status on Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA) Registry.
  • Must be proficient in the English language and be able to read, write and speak English.
