Special Education Teacher

A Special Education Teacher position is available at a high school in Glendale, AZ. This contract role is set for the current school year and focuses on providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
• Deliver specialized instruction to support academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and families to ensure effective learning environments.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations.

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with high school students in a special education setting.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional techniques to meet diverse learner needs.
