• Perform specific tasks or routines supportive to delivery of patient care in the assigned nursing unit under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with Division of Nursing standards.
• Promotes timely patient placement by following hospital policy for patient admission, discharge, and transfer.
• Provides care to patients in accordance with standards of care, including assistance with hygiene, comfort, and activities of daily living.
• Performs various medical procedures such as urine specimen collection, splinting, IV catheter insertion, crutch adjustment, urinary catheter removal, dressing changes, accucheks, hemocults, nasogastric tube discontinuation, IV catheter removal, phlebotomy, and Foley bag emptying.
• Transports patients, medical records, and equipment within scheduled time frames, and assists in positioning, lifting, and ambulating patients using safety precautions.

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Required] OR
• Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) [Required] OR
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) [Required] OR
• NHA Patient Care Technician * (CPCT) [Required] AND
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
