Check-in with the outgoing CNA at the beginning of your shift to get a report on your patients. Conduct hourly rounds on patients, checking vitals, maintaining whiteboard information, and assisting with care as needed.

• Conduct hourly rounds on patients, checking vitals, maintaining whiteboard information, and assisting with care as needed.
• Assist patients with ambulation as necessary.
• Assist patients with hygiene needs.
• Help the bedside nurse with tube insertions, such as an NG tube, rectal tube, or catheter.
• Help the bedside nurse with any wound checks or dressing changes.
• Change bed linens, check patients' weight, and other tasks as assigned each day.

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Successful Completion of the 75-hour state-approved Nursing Assistant course
• Active Nurse Aide (CNA) license in good standing in Nebraska
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
