Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Business Unit personnel responsible for Disaster Recovery
  • Closely partner with other IT and Enterprise Resiliency team members to confirm business requirements for DR
  • Govern how our 1000+ firm-wide Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) are updated annually
  • Drive ongoing scheduling, development, and execution of a firm-wide DR testing program
  • Understand and help guide the continued development of our AWS and Azure environments
  • Maintain DR analytics dashboard and using Excel, Power BI and SharePoint skill set to keep our metrics and reporting consistently up to date
  • Drive the testing and validation of Disaster Recovery integration in the Resiliency toolset
  • Deliver tool-related training materials needed for program stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of additional non-toolset related training initiatives for select program stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with industry recognized Professional Certification (preferred)
  • 7+ years professional experience in financial services, insurance, technology, disaster recovery or business continuity
  • Experience planning, developing, and implementing firm-wide IT platforms in large, complex organizations
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of processes and technologies relevant to responsibilities
  • Experience with industry BC/DR/IM tools such as ServiceNow BCM, Everbridge (or similar) highly preferred
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, and proven interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working in large, matrixed, and geographically dispersed organizations
  • Ability to work independently to deliver multiple, potentially competing, priorities and assignments
  • Be available during off hours and willingness to travel to regional facilities as necessary
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office suit
  • Ability to work in office-type environment
  • Preferred: Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Collaboration platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence
  • Ability to define solutions and make decisions in ambiguous situations
  • DRII or similar industry certification
