About the role
Environmental Compliance Program Manager for the Americas.
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental compliance program for operating sites and handover of construction projects to operations.
- Support operations personnel in completing regulatory obligations and addressing permit requirements.
- Interact with facility personnel, company management, legal counsel, environmental sustainability team, and other relevant internal stakeholders to communicate environmental requirements, identify compliance issues, act as a technical resource, and coordinate on key initiatives.
- Define and implement necessary training for facility operations personnel for managing environmental issues.
- Support site incident investigations.
- Interact with regulatory agency personnel on major environmental issues.
- Monitor development of legislative changes in the Americas, analyze potential impacts on operations, and provide updates to the site personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, related field AND 4+ years experience in Environmental Regulations
- OR equivalent experience.
