Nurse Extern II Hematology Oncology Contingent Days

The Nurse Extern II (NE II) is a member of the patient care services team with primary responsibilities for technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities

• Technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities
• Assist with providing patient care such as ADLS, vitals, ambulation and other duties within the scope of patient care tech or equivalent
• Report all deviations from expected patient parameters to the registered nurse
• Assist with providing patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse

• Minimum Qualifications: Applicants can apply starting 6 months before graduation from an accredited school of nursing and must pass all senior courses to remain in the program
