Responsibilities
- Assesses patient/family health problems and resources, and takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for OR nursing care.
- Provides professional Surgical nursing care and interventions to critically ill patient population(s).
- This position requires providing service to one or more age groups including ill children through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Requirements
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- Current California RN License
- Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- One year recent acute care experience.
- Completion of a Perioperative 101 (Or equivalent) course of study or two (2) years recent inpatient operating room nursing experience
