Special Education Paraprofessional

An Illinois K-12 school is seeking a committed and compassionate paraprofessional to support students throughout the academic year.

• Assist teachers in delivering classroom instruction and activities
• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students as assigned
• Support students with behavioral and social-emotional challenges
• Aid with daily living skills and mobility when necessary
• Document and communicate student progress to supervising staff
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Illinois ISBE Para Educator License or willingness to obtain before start date
• Experience in school or childcare settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children
