DC-DC Power System Design Engineer - Jobs - Careers at Apple
Responsibilities
- Work with system and power architects on computer and server power architecture investigations
- Apply technical expertise to analyze design tradeoffs
- Own the power circuit schematic and BOM
- Define complex PMU settings
- Validate the performance of power circuits
- Perform system level testing
- Provide technical support to debug production issues
- Perform comparative benchmarking
- Engage vendors to develop next generation integrated circuits
- Collaborate with engineers from other areas of expertise
Requirements
- Electrical / Computer engineering degree
- >5 years of relevant work experience
- Understanding single- and multi-phase DC-DC regulators
- Experience with power circuit design, simulations, functionality and performance validation
- Occasional travel in the US and overseas
