Warehouse Cleaning Specialist - Day Shift

About the role
Ensure that assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes. Clean and sanitize the warehouse according to job standards. Operate specialized equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, etc. to perform functions of job. Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures. Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning the facility. Removal of trash/garbage for the facility; mopping as needed, cleaning of floor drains and any exterior areas requiring attention. Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation. Maintain all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, instructions, cleaning equipment and tools. May be asked to work in other areas as needed, if trained. Apply high quality scientific techniques in the microbiological environmental monitoring of the facility. Be able to work with fellow specialists, with a high degree of motivation, attention to important details with clear communication to all team members. Prioritize tasks to efficiently be completed with the most accurate results, and to communicate clearly and work together in a team environment

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous cleaning experience
- Science related associate's degree with at least 1 year of appropriate college lab studies and 1 year of college mathematics plus 1 year of related laboratory experience or 2 years’ experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Science related bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of appropriate college lab studies and 1 year of college mathematics
