Sign Language Interpreter

Deliver high-quality American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services to support the student’s access to classroom instruction and communication. Facilitate effective communication between the student, teachers, and peers. Collaborate with educational staff to ensure appropriate linguistic and educational accommodations.

• Deliver high-quality American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services
• Facilitate effective communication between the student, teachers, and peers
• Collaborate with educational staff to ensure appropriate linguistic and educational accommodations

• Active Illinois Educational Interpreter Services (EIS) license or an Educational Interpreting Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher
• Proven experience interpreting in ASL, preferably within a school setting
