School Occupational Therapist

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available for the entire school year at a high school located in Concord, CA. This contract role offers an opportunity to support students in their educational environment while applying your specialized skills in school-based occupational therapy.

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to high school students, focusing on enhancing their functional skills for academic success
• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement intervention plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
• Participate in meetings such as IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning and reviews

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings, particularly at the high school level
• Background in healthcare and home health occupational therapy is a plus
• Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
• Flexibility to start as soon as possible
