About the role
DSHS OHBH Psychologist 4 – Sex Offense Treatment & Evaluation
Responsibilities
- Manage and track patients with sexual offenses
- Complete forensic and risk evaluations
- Prepare bulletins and serve as a voting member of the End of Sentence Review Committee (ESRC)
- May provide sex offender treatment to patients (if qualified)
- May conduct psychological assessments and civil commitment evaluations
- Deliver expert court testimony and prepare required documentation
- Support interdisciplinary teams and inform discharge planning
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation per policy and legal requirements
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution
- Three years of post-doctoral psychology experience
- Experience in forensic assessment
- Washington state psychology license
