About the role

DSHS OHBH Psychologist 4 – Sex Offense Treatment & Evaluation

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track patients with sexual offenses
  • Complete forensic and risk evaluations
  • Prepare bulletins and serve as a voting member of the End of Sentence Review Committee (ESRC)
  • May provide sex offender treatment to patients (if qualified)
  • May conduct psychological assessments and civil commitment evaluations
  • Deliver expert court testimony and prepare required documentation
  • Support interdisciplinary teams and inform discharge planning
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation per policy and legal requirements

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution
  • Three years of post-doctoral psychology experience
  • Experience in forensic assessment
  • Washington state psychology license
