Responsibilities

  • Communicate directly with vendors, staff, and managers to resolve issues and discrepancies
  • Determine proper course of action for recovery of amounts paid in error
  • Establishes credit arrangements with the vendor
  • Review, calculate, prepare, and process agency expenditure payments
  • Review rules and procedures for Department of Revenue unclaimed property
  • Maintains, in a spreadsheet format, invoices that did not charge the agency tax to remit those amounts to DOR referred to as “use tax payments”

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in accounting, budgeting, finance, or payroll as a Fiscal Analyst 1 or equivalent
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports
  • Aptitude to read, understand, and determine compliance with rules and regulations and follow established procedures
