Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with vendors, staff, and managers to resolve issues and discrepancies
- Determine proper course of action for recovery of amounts paid in error
- Establishes credit arrangements with the vendor
- Review, calculate, prepare, and process agency expenditure payments
- Review rules and procedures for Department of Revenue unclaimed property
- Maintains, in a spreadsheet format, invoices that did not charge the agency tax to remit those amounts to DOR referred to as “use tax payments”
Requirements
- Progressive experience in accounting, budgeting, finance, or payroll as a Fiscal Analyst 1 or equivalent
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports
- Aptitude to read, understand, and determine compliance with rules and regulations and follow established procedures
