Software Development Engineer, AWS Edge Connectivity

AWS Edge Connectivity service enables AWS Cloud connectivity options for US Intelligence and Department of Defense customers. We help our customers to onboard, manage, and scale their connectivity options for maintaining persistent connection to AWS Isolated cloud.

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to design, build, and implement cloud-based services for managing encrypted network connections
• Build distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost, with ease of management and use
• Influence product direction through data-backed technical insights and framing solutions in terms of business impact
• Mentor your teammates, helping to grow and develop their technical and operational skills
• Participate in on-call rotation in support of our services

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, IPSec)
