About the role
Under the supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care Services, the Sleep Technologist is responsible for helping maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and/or departmental protocols.
Responsibilities
- Helping maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system
- Interpreting and applying operating procedures, technical standards, and/or protocols to problems of varying degrees of complexity
Requirements
- Sufficient for license/registration
- National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
- National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
- National Sleep Disorders Specialty - National Board for Respiratory Care
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
