About the role
This team manages diverse programs, each with a unique set of challenges. Our work started with China, but we are increasingly focused on new regulations in Europe and elsewhere, such as the Digital Markets Act, Digital Services Act, and others. We do not work on straightforward problems. Projects only reach our team when they are complex and ambiguous. Identifying solutions typically require working with expert teams across software engineering, data, business, infrastructure, operations, security, legal, and others.
Responsibilities
- Drive complex regulatory programs in Apple's Services organization
- Identify and put forward solutions to seemingly impossible problems
- Adapt to new challenges in the global regulatory environment
- Work with expert teams across software engineering, data, business, infrastructure, operations, security, legal, and others
- Communicate complex issues to all levels of the organization
- Tailor communication to the appropriate context and seniority
- Write clearly and deliver effective presentations
- Run large and difficult meetings
Requirements
- 5+ years experience driving complex programs in the technology industry
- Developing requirements for software engineering teams
- Demonstrated excellence in building strong relationships across an organization
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
- Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex proposals and requirements
- Experience speaking and negotiating directly with external parties
- Degree in related field of study or equivalent experience preferred
