CNA Float Pool

Responsible for assisting in performing specific duties and activities of daily living under the supervision of a professional nurse. This position provides care to age-specific groups as identified in the position responsibilities.

• Responsible for assisting in performing specific duties and activities of daily living under the supervision of a professional nurse.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assists in the delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department policy.
• Participates in obtaining a nursing history and reports abnormalities to the registered nurse.
• Assists in identifying patient needs.

• High School Grad or Equivalent
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
• Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A)
• Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT)
