Software Engineer II - CTJ - TS/SCI

Join the Microsoft Silver + Sovereign AI Enablement team, where we empower U.S. government agencies to harness the full potential of Microsoft Azure AI services across all U.S. government clouds.

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems that power Azure AI services in U.S. government clouds.
• Participate in on-call rotations and response to ensure high availability of services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multiple services and layers of infrastructure.
• Collaborate with partner teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration of AI capabilities.
• Support and enhance existing AI services by improving reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure high availability of services.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and advocate for operational excellence.
• Write clear, maintainable code and documentation to support long-term sustainability of systems.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and operational excellence.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
