About the role

As an SRE, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of Apple's FMD (Full Material Disclosure) Platform while driving automation and DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of application platforms, APIs, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with developers to design resilient architectures and streamline CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate builds, deployments, configuration management, and release processes.
  • Implement observability practices: transaction tracing, logging, metrics, and alerting.
  • Partner with QA/SDET teams to integrate testing into CI/CD workflows.
  • Troubleshoot application incidents (transaction errors, API failures, caching, authentication, schema changes).
  • Promote DevOps culture to improve release velocity and reduce failures.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming (Python, Bash, Go, Java, or similar).
  • Hands on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
  • Hands on experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (equivalent practical experience).
