About the role

In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google’s various product ecosystem. Additionally, we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration, and more).

Responsibilities

  • Build systems and tools to support the collection of consolidated feedback on Chrome's web platform and agentic efforts, ensuring the right solutions are delivered to the core team.
  • Improve the origin trial experience and consolidate user insights to inform product development.
  • Use data to create dashboards that track web platform usage and provide key insights to guide Chrome's product strategy.
  • Help in scaling new web features by improving the Origin Trial process and by creating clear documentation for developers.
  • Explore new ways to use AI to get better insights from partner feedback, influencing the web platform roadmap.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience designing and implementing AI-driven workflows, including working with prompt engineering to optimize outputs from large language models.
  • Experience with web development, including building prototypes, internal developer tools, or code examples.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role translating technical concepts into clear, concise solutions for both non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate and build consensus with stakeholder groups to drive key technical decisions.
  • Excellent technical leadership, investigative, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
