L&I DOSH Safety & Health Retaliation Investigator (OSHPRO3 In-training)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent and complex investigations into workplace retaliation complaints
  • Interview employees, employers, and witnesses
  • Prepare and write detailed investigative reports
  • Negotiate and mediate settlements
  • Manage own caseload
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners

Requirements

  • Background in investigations, law enforcement, occupational safety & health, or a related field
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Clear and persuasive writing ability
  • Strong interviewing, negotiation, and mediation skills
  • Integrity and trustworthiness
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and external stakeholders
