L&I DOSH Safety & Health Retaliation Investigator (OSHPRO3 In-training)
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent and complex investigations into workplace retaliation complaints
- Interview employees, employers, and witnesses
- Prepare and write detailed investigative reports
- Negotiate and mediate settlements
- Manage own caseload
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
Requirements
- Background in investigations, law enforcement, occupational safety & health, or a related field
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Clear and persuasive writing ability
- Strong interviewing, negotiation, and mediation skills
- Integrity and trustworthiness
- Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and external stakeholders
