Staff Pharmacist

An established healthcare facility is seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist for a contract position in Rocklin, CA. This role requires a dedicated professional with hospital experience who can commit to a 6-month term starting at the end of March. The pharmacist will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within the hospital setting.

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nurses regarding patient care
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles in clinical decision-making
• Utilize IT systems such as Cerner and Omnicell for order management and documentation

• Valid Pharmacist license in California
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to commit to the full 6-month contract term
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
