AdventHealth Medical Group West FL Rollover PDO with service year increases in accrua Comprehensive benefits package; including tuition reimbursement and matching 403b plan Patient facing positions receiving company paid initial sets of scrubs Company Discount programs Growing Organization Reimbursement for clinical position certifications The role you'll contribute: Medical Assistants assist in various aspects of medical practice until the direct supervisor and responsibility of a physician.Responsibilities may include patient care management, administrative and clinical procedures.In all practice endeavors the medical Assistant will adhere to ethical and professional practice. The value you'll bring to the team: Reviews appointment bookings in advance and ensure patients receive appointment reminders. Verify and validate insurance prior to appointment date. Completes check in process, securing copays and balance amounts. Verifies consent forms are completed and up to date. Maintains timely flow of patients and keep patients up to date of any delays. Responds to and returns in-coming telephone calls in a timely manner. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Minimum of a High School Diploma or EquivalentTechnical/Vocational School Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program BLS Certification (condition of employment) Certified or Registered medical assistant certification froman AdventHealth approved certified body.

Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Technical/Vocational School
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- BLS Certification (condition of employment)
- Certified or Registered medical assistant certification from an AdventHealth approved certified body.
