About the role
Benefits, description, and responsibilities of the DSHS FTAA Electrician position
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair wiring/cables, connections, distribution/instrument panels, and circuits
- Install, adjust, inspect, and maintain electric motors and equipment
- Replace bearings and motor or generator parts, and perform emergency generator testing
- Operate equipment and machines
- Contact vendors and suppliers concerning equipment, materials, and parts
Requirements
- Current Washington State EL01 license and one year of experience as a journey-level certified electrician
- Knowledge of standard practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the electrical trade
- Ability to work from blueprints, plans, and sketches
- Ability to estimate materials and time needed to complete jobs
