About the role
Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with autism, managing a current caseload of five students with the capacity to serve up to seven. Collaborate with two experienced paraprofessionals who provide classroom support. Participate in professional development days scheduled for August 20 and 21 to prepare for the school year beginning on August 25.

- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and school staff
Requirements
- Active Michigan Special Education teaching license of any type
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably with autism spectrum disorders
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to work collaboratively with support staff
- Commitment to professional development and student-centered instructional approaches
