About the role
The Windows Authentication team within the Windows Servicing and Delivery (WSD) organization at Microsoft owns the authentication and authorization stack across windows client and server platforms
Responsibilities
- Debug complex Windows issues and root cause the problems
- Develop robust fixes and writing code to test fixes
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the highest quality of security features and updates
- Work on customer incidents and finding mitigations/solutions to real-world problems
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years software development and system design experience with coding in languages including C and C++
- 2+ years experience problem solving, design, and implementation
- Knowledge of authentication protocols, security principles, and performance optimization
- Experience coding and debugging in C or C++
