Sr. Claim Examiner-Westchester Property

We are seeking a Senior Claim Examiner to join our Westchester Property Claims Unit. The Senior Claim Examiner will service first-party commercial property claims throughout the United States, for our Digital, Programs and Middle Market business units by utilizing Independent Adjusters to determine cause of loss, coverage provided under the policy, and scope and repair value of damage.

• Service first-party commercial property claims throughout the United States
• Utilize Independent Adjusters to determine cause of loss, coverage, and scope of damage
• Maintain an active diary and monitor a diary claims system
• Recognize and pursue recovery where possible
• Ensure timely development of file and disposition of the claim
• Establish accurate and timely reserves
• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers

• College degree preferred or equivalent in education and experience
• Strong understanding of insurance contracts, industry trends, claim severity, and Chubb's systems, procedures, and philosophy
