Responsibilities
- Provide expert level advice and consultation to agency leadership and employees
- Create and maintain legally defensive and binding documentation for reference in future legal proceedings
- Researching and staying current with new legislation and case law
- Monitor claims on behalf of DCYF
- Act as a liaison between agency, health care providers, and L&I representatives
- Monitor and support benefits claims to ensure they meet criteria for Stay at Work (SAW) or Preferred Worker employer reimbursement
- Provide Payroll with L&I payment orders necessary to track leave
- Research and stay current with new legislation and case law
Requirements
- Five years of professional human resource experience that includes three years of managing a caseload of Reasonable Accommodation cases
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business, human resources, or related field from an accredited college or university whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- AND three years of professional human resource experience that includes two years of managing a caseload of reasonable accommodation cases
