Investment Accounting, Assistant Manager

The Investment Accounting group at AIG is responsible for the accounting and reporting for AIG's Invested Assets of over $95 billion.

• Execute and support accounting processes related to the monthly and quarterly accounting close to ensure accuracy of AIG’s invested assets data.
• Prepare AIG’s statement of cash flows for investments
• Execute and support the preparation of certain Investment disclosures for AIG 10Q/K and Financial Supplement.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA a plus.
• 5+ yrs of investment accounting related experience preferred.
• Experience in accounting and reporting for investments.
• Deep knowledge of financial instruments, including fixed income and equity securities, loans, alternative investments, and more.
