Services Contract Manager

A Services Contract Manager is responsible for approving and negotiating non-standard contractual terms in a way that balances business needs, opportunities, and risks, all with the goal of meeting both Microsoft and customer strategic objectives.

• Make empowered decisions on customer agreements, exercising sound business judgment.
• Negotiate services contract terms and conditions to close deals.
• Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and other business groups to design winning offers and deal constructs.
• Own the review, negotiation and approval of non-standard contract terms and non-standard contract documents.
• Drive business adherence to Services guidelines and policies.
• Ensure negotiation strategies for services adhere to established principles and standards and help adapt those principles to the evolving technology marketplace.
• Share learnings and coach sales teams to improve Microsoft’s deal-making capabilities and accelerate deal timelines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience negotiating contracts (software licensing, services and sales, etc.).
• 2+ years of contract management experience with United States Federal or State and Local Government, AND public sector customers.
