About the role
Become part of a respected Cancer and Infusion Center as a Travel Oncology Pharmacist, ensuring optimal chemotherapy preparation and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient therapy, provide interventions, and incorporate age-specific considerations.
- Engage in clinical research and educational programs.
- Serve as a liaison for new treatment regimens and operational support.
- Oversee IV admixture, chemotherapy preparation, and supervise technicians.
- Maintain inventory, update department/nursing policies, and standardize chemotherapy ordering.
Requirements
- MA Pharmacist license or ability to obtain.
- 5+ years acute care clinical experience.
- Strong sterile compounding skills required.
- PGY1 Oncology Residency & BCOP certification strongly preferred.
- Independent worker with supervisory experience.
- Must provide own transportation.
