Phlebotomist

The Phlebotomist works with patients to perform blood collection and specimen processing, as well as assisting with clerical duties and maintaining lab collection turnaround time.

• Practice positive patient identification at all times, in all job functions.
• Practice HumanKindness and courtesy with all patient and co-worker interactions and maintain good communication within the department and throughout the hospital.

• High School diploma or GED
• BLS through American Heart association within 90 days of hire
• Excellent customer service and time management skills
• Phlebotomy certificate and/or 3 months phlebotomy experience is preferred
