Responsibilities
- Coordinate with State Construction Office (SCO) DB Team and actively participate as a member of the Design-Build Work Group (DBWG).
- Develop (as the lead author) Section 2.8 Environmental of the Request for Proposal (RFP) template.
- Support (as the statewide Environmental SME on the DBWG) the development of Section 2.30 Water Crossings of the RFP template.
- Ensure that Section 2.8 Environmental of the RFP template is consistent with other RFP sections where compatibility must be maintained when any changes occur.
- Evaluate requests and incorporate changes, including those requested by others in the DB Program’s change log by others.
- Coordinate review of all template sections for environmental considerations.
- Advise region/mode/Megaprograms staff on RFP development strategy (e.g., permitting, environmental documentation, compliance).
- Review and comment on draft project contract documents as the requested by region/mode/Megaprograms staff.
- Provide support to region, mode, and Megaprogram staff on strategies to deliver fish passage projects in line with broader Fish Passage Program Delivery needs.
- Advise DB teams on options and preferred courses of action for environmental compliance issues.
