About the role
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our partner school district in Buffalo, NY for an onsite position. This is a contract role for the 2025–2026 school year, starting immediately and continuing through June 2026.
Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective instruction in core high school math subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, and related coursework for grades 9–12. Develop lesson plans aligned with state standards and individualized student needs. Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff. Collaborate with school faculty and support staff to foster a positive learning environment. Participate in professional development and school meetings as required.
Requirements: Valid New York State Teaching Certification in Mathematics (Grades 7–12) – required. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Previous high school teaching experience preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to commit to the full contract term through June 2026. Must pass a background check and any district onboarding requirements.
