Teacher's Aide

An opportunity is available for a dedicated paraprofessional to support elementary education within a dynamic school environment in Joliet, IL. This contract position, spanning the current school year, offers the chance to contribute to student growth and classroom success through hands-on assistance and collaboration with teaching staff.

• Support classroom teachers by reinforcing instructional material and assisting with lesson implementation
• Provide individualized attention to students, addressing diverse learning needs
• Assist with classroom management to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Collaborate with educators to develop and adapt learning activities
• Help supervise students during non-instructional times, ensuring safety and engagement

• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a related educational support role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for supporting children's learning and development
