About the role
The Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Spokane North Child Welfare Office, which includes providing direct support to field staff and working closely with the DCYF licensing division and child care licensing.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple aspects of the day-to-day facility operations
- Provide direct support to managers
- Coordinate front-end purchasing requests
- Review the need for equipment and make recommendations
- Coordinate with vendors for purchases of equipment, supplies, and services
Requirements
- Equivalent education and experience totaling five years of experience involving responsibility for planning, organizing, and coordinating work in a business office
- Bachelor's degree involving major study in business administration or a closely allied field AND one year of supervisory experience involving responsibility for planning, organizing, and coordinating work in a business office
- One year of experience in State service as an Administrative Assistant 2, Human Resource Assistant 2, or Data Compiler 3
- Two years in State service as an Administrative Assistant 1 or Human Resources Assistant 1 or equivalent, involving supervisory or office management responsibility
