About the role

The Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Spokane North Child Welfare Office, which includes providing direct support to field staff and working closely with the DCYF licensing division and child care licensing.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple aspects of the day-to-day facility operations
  • Provide direct support to managers
  • Coordinate front-end purchasing requests
  • Review the need for equipment and make recommendations
  • Coordinate with vendors for purchases of equipment, supplies, and services

Requirements

  • Equivalent education and experience totaling five years of experience involving responsibility for planning, organizing, and coordinating work in a business office
  • Bachelor's degree involving major study in business administration or a closely allied field AND one year of supervisory experience involving responsibility for planning, organizing, and coordinating work in a business office
  • One year of experience in State service as an Administrative Assistant 2, Human Resource Assistant 2, or Data Compiler 3
  • Two years in State service as an Administrative Assistant 1 or Human Resources Assistant 1 or equivalent, involving supervisory or office management responsibility
