About the role
The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is seeking an experienced, visionary leader to serve as the Director of the Family and Community Support Section within the Division of Partnership, Prevention, and Services (PPS).
Responsibilities
- Lead a statewide section of 55 staff that oversee more than 130 contracts and a $230 million annual budget.
- Supervise two WMS3-level Senior Administrators and guide statewide initiatives related to family support, child abuse prevention, early relational health, and early intervention services.
Requirements
- Eleven (11) years of progressively responsible and multi-dimensional experience in managing complex portfolios, projects and/or programs, including high-level supervisory experience, leading staff teams, and demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, dynamic and diverse environment with multiple and changing demands.
