About the role
This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 school setting in El Dorado, AR. The role focuses on supporting students’ communication development through effective therapy interventions tailored to diverse pediatric needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports
- Utilize teletherapy methods when appropriate to ensure consistent student engagement
- Participate in meetings and professional development activities as required
Requirements
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech and language therapy
- Knowledge of school-based speech-language services and educational regulations
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or completed
